What to Expect
In Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg the trailer yard is a corner stone of material supply with the „Warehouse-on-Wheels“ Delivery concept.
You will become part of the Inbound / Trailer Yard Team and drive the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of GIGA Berlins Trailer Yard processes. The successful candidate is a self-starter and can manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time. This role requires working closely with Intralogistics Departments, IT, and other departments, as well as external transport partner to drive projects to success

What You’ll Do

• Creation of Material flow Layouts, check-in and trailer handling processes in close cooperation with Management, yard operations team and other departments
• Optimization of existing Processes under consideration of lean productions / logistics approaches
• Definition of functionalities, configuration and improvement as well as maintenance of master data for the material flow system
• Creation & follow-up of Key Performance Indicators for the trailer yard
• Managing your projects, budgets, and the timeline
• Planning and conceptualize needed equipment or special equipment if necessary
• Implementation of plan concepts with all interfacing departments and external vendors

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor´s Degree in Business Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• 2+ years of working experience (ideally in a logistic project management environment)
• Knowledge of transport strategies in a dynamic manufacturing system
• Experience with transport equipment and related infrastructure
• Values people, ethics, commitment, fun and an engaging culture
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Very good written and spoken German skills (C1+)
• Good written and spoken English skills (B2+)
• Open-minded self-starter with the ability to adapt and improvise
• AutoCAD experience preferred
• You have a drivers license
