What you'll do:

• Monitor and optimise plant performance, focusing on cost, quality and efficiency
• Investigate process issues and implement sustainable performance improvements
• Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective actions across the plant
• Identify and deliver optimisation opportunities across throughput and resource use
• Support and deliver capital projects, trials and process changes
• Partner with operations and maintenance to improve reliability and performance
• Take ownership of process areas and drive continuous improvement outcomes

What You Will Bring:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or similar
• 8+ years’ experience in process engineering within heavy industry or manufacturing. Pulp mill experience will be very highly regarded
• Strong background in process optimisation, troubleshooting and plant performance
• Experience working with large scale equipment or complex chemical processes
• Ability to lead initiatives and influence outcomes across site
• A proactive, self driven approach with a focus on results and improvement
• Strong communication skills working with both technical and operational teams
