• Understand, configure, and manage processes to ensure stable production of products that meet customer requirements and product specifications.
• We develop and optimize manufacturing processes that take manufacturability into consideration, and that can accommodate changes in product specifications and process improvements.
• Validation of product, process, and raw material changes is carried out using statistical methods to ensure compliance with requirements.
• We will collaborate with product owners, technical sales representatives, and relevant departments to drive the commercialization of derivative products of mass-produced items.
• Identify and assess product and process risks, and mitigate them appropriately through methods such as FMEA (Fault Mechanism of Risk Assessment).
• We conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and customer complaints, and promote corrective and preventive measures.
• We support stable production through the selection of contract manufacturers, capacity development, and technical support.
• I will work in collaboration with equipment managers to lead technical improvements aimed at increasing production capacity and throughput.
• We drive engineering projects related to scaling up, capacity building, and continuous improvement.
• We utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other tools to monitor and improve the quality and performance of commercial products (such as the stability/capability of product characteristics and yield).
• This involves organizing and maintaining item, process, and recipe information, manufacturing procedures, and related technical documents within manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

• A bachelor's degree in engineering or science is required.
• Applicants must have practical experience as a process engineer or in a related technical role.
• Experience participating in engineering projects while collaborating with multiple functional teams.
• Experience in developing, improving, implementing, or verifying manufacturing processes is required.
• Experience in resolving technical challenges related to manufacturing processes, equipment, materials, or quality.
• Having experience in analyzing root causes using problem-solving methods and implementing improvement activities.
• Applicants must have experience using statistical methods such as statistical process control (SPC), design of experiments (DOE), and data analysis in their work, or a willingness to acquire these skills.
• Applicants must possess the ability to create technical documents and communicate effectively in both Japanese and English.
