JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Process Engineer (Waste Management) to support the design, optimization, and implementation of waste treatment processes and systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in improving operational efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to environmental sustainability initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
  • 1+ years of experience in waste management, wastewater treatment, or related industries
  • Familiar with environmental regulations and process safety standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities
  • Design, analyze, and optimize waste treatment and disposal processes
  • Monitor and evaluate plant performance to ensure compliance with environmental standards and safety regulations
  • Identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction
  • Prepare process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in project planning, equipment selection, and commissioning
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide technical input for EHS initiatives
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure permits and documentation are up to date
