Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Support project managers/group leaders by providing technical expertise to ensure that project outcomes in terms of profit, schedule, technical and quality standards, meet both the client and Stantec expectations. As a civil engineer, assist in the delivery of projects, in the specialised field of dam engineering.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL FOR THIS ROLE YOU’LL PRESENT:
- Tertiary Qualification in relevant Engineering (Civil or Geotechnical) field along with CPEng (or ability to obtain).
- Over 10-years mechanical/infrastructure engineering experience – design and construction.
- Exceptional leadership abilities including managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
- Advanced knowledge of water and wastewater services and the delivery environment.
- Highly developed problem solving and negotiation skills to resolve disputes that arise
- Strong understanding of D&C or alternative delivery projects.
- Solid report writing with the ability to tell a compelling story.
