Description:
SUMMARY:
Verigon has an exciting opportunity as we grow the company for an experienced, self-motivated, results oriented Process Engineering Technician to provide first class technical support and development solutions for conformal spray coating and underfilling applications.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
· Required high school diploma- College credit or Associates Degree preferred.
· Five or more years’ experience in electronic assembly manufacturing.
· Two or more years’ experience in Conformal Coating/Underfill required.
· Ability to program Conformal Coating/Underfill machines is required.
· Technical experience in electro-mechanical assembly and creating work instructions.
· Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
· Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office, CAD experience, and AEGIS/FLx CircuitCam recommended.
· Ability to design process tooling is a plus.
· Math skills and strong problems solving abilities.
· Strong interpersonal and communication written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization in English.
· US Citizenship required.
Responsibilities:
· Developing and supporting Conformal Coating/Underfill using manual and automated spay equipment.
· Assists process engineering by providing SMT manufacturing, mechanical assembly, and/or Conformal Coating/Underfill support.
· Documents, monitors and assists manufacturing activities and issue resolution.
· Actively contributes to continuous process improvement efforts to improve manufacturing processes along with reducing scrap and cycle times.
· Facilitates training and troubleshooting to resolve production concerns.
· Run tests and experiments, gathers and sorts data, writes reports and summaries.
· Creates and updates work instructions, CCAMs, and procedures.
· Creates and maintains tooling/equipment and curing/baking logs/profiles.
· Willingness to work on all assigned duties as necessary to support the overall team and company goals.
· Other duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager and/or Process Engineers.
