As a Process Technician, you'll be responsible for preparing wafers for experimentation, operating reactors to perform thin film processes, and using scanning electron microscopes for analyses and imaging. You'll record process conditions and experimental observations, perform routine maintenance procedures, and evaluate wafers and thin films. Process Technicians are tasked with preparing cross-section samples for analysis, identifying patterns of interest in imaging, and operating laboratory process equipment and instrumentation. Your expertise in troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and process optimization drives higher levels of productivity, quality, and efficiency in our manufacturing processes. As a Process Technician in R&D, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and optimization of semiconductor manufacturing processes. You will work closely with engineers and scientists to execute experiments, collect data, and maintain equipment in a cleanroom environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, hands-on, and passionate about advancing cutting-edge technology. Responsibilities: Assisting engineer to work on developing process technology for advanced semiconductor processes Responsible for performing basic recipe and CH troubleshooting during process runs and implement changes based on directions from the engineer Owner for the execution of module process, data collection for measurement & inspection and sharing of data with the engineer Interact with internal and external CH and metrology tool owners to align for tool time, execute process sequence and collect data to feedback to engineer Occasional over-time to support process engineering support activities Requirements: ITE/ Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Materials Science) or related field. > 3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or R&D environment preferred. Familiarity with cleanroom operations and semiconductor processing equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs. Basic understanding of process control and data analysis. Good communication and teamwork skills. Must be able to commit Monday - Friday rotating shift (9am - 6pm/ 4pm - 11pm). Shift pattern may change to rotating 12-hour shift after moving to Tampines.
