POSITION SUMMARY:

The Process Engineer reports directly to the engineering Manager and is responsible for the overall support of the product fabrication and process for space transformer solutions in Class 100 cleanroom.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • AA degree or greater in a science major.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills (English).
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Familiarity with chemical/materials handling and safety.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to stand for most of the shift and bend or stoop as necessary.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities
  • Processing and operating equipment for:
  • Data collection and preparing presentations.
  • Create test files and test on Flying probe test machine.
  • Create programs and recipes on IPG Laser.
  • Physical Vapor Deposition of metals using Plasma Sputtering tool
  • Photolithography process
  • Plasma etch processing
  • Wet etch processing
  • Metrology tools including laser interferometer, confocal microscopes, high-power microscope, e-test equipment
  • Responsible for electrodeposition of various metals
  • Equipment calibration and upkeep
  • Quantify chemicals in plating baths
  • Multilayer wafer processing including processing on ceramic substrates
  • Work to Engineering and Production schedule deadlines
  • Help with lab upkeep including plating baths and chemical inventory
  • Create and update SOPs and other required documents.
  • Should be proficient with Microsoft , Autocad
  • Ensure good cleanroom discipline, including specification and management of particle control and temperature/humidity monitor
