PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. The construction began in May 2021, and first series of production commenced in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics’ fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities. Job Description Ramp Up measurements including ELFR Measurements and qualification measurements Driving the measurements in full self-responsibility Booking tester capacity, align with line control Preparation of measurements Initiate the preparation of tester cell (changing contact unit and/or part tweaking) Load and start test program in GUI Run test program with first part and check contact Prepare parts in handler Prepare and handle trays failure trays Ensure proper contact Feedback any issues to the corresponding support function and ensure timely support Observe yield of running measurement and initiate measures in case of drop down right in time, involve other support functions Interface Role: Serve as the critical link between all involved parties Quality, Test Development, Test Engineering, Equipment Engineering, etc. Test Cell Troubleshooting: Act as the first level support for instabilities and issues with first series, non/pre -series processes during ramp up and qualification measurements on Advantest V93k testers and Cohu Delta Matrix handlers Proactive Problem Solving: Identify, apply, and document solutions and workarounds for recurring issues to ensure high data quality and efficiency. Qualifications Operating knowledge of Handler & Tester Basic understanding of test program and how to use it. Basic knowledge of MES System First-class English communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. Responsibilities
