THE POSITION

As Process Expert/Process Manager in our Order Management team, you will take part in transforming Supply Chain Management at Boehringer Ingelheim. You will be working in a globally operating team that designs, builds and continuously improves our global Supply Chain Processes. The scope for this position focuses on the Order management processes within Order to Cash. These processes are supported by our global SAP system GBS United (SAP ERP).
As part of our motivated team, you will have the opportunity to drive change within our Order to Cash community.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Business Administration, IT or similar with first experience in process management
  • Good SAP knowledge, for example SAP ERP SD
  • Project work experiences and / or consulting background preferred
  • Good analytical capabilities and problem-solving competence
  • Agile, accountable and entrepreneurial mindset with a dedicated solution- and result orientation
  • Dedicated team player with can-do attitude and good communication skills, including preparation of documentation for presentations

As Process Manager, you additionally fullfill the following requirements:

  • Several years of experience in process management
  • You additionally have experience in managing projects on your own, achieving your goals in time, budget and quality
Responsibilities
  • You will work in cross-functional teams to ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of our standardized processes in global projects.
  • Based on your expertise in Order Management, you will identify improvement opportunities and develop proposals in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • You will manage user communities and spread best practices for example in the training of key users.
  • Acting as third level support, you will encourage our daily operation of processes and applications.
  • Thanks to you, we can be sure that our processes and systems will always be compliant and in a validated state.
  • Furthermore, you will manage the execution and documentation of testing and training activities.

As Process Manager, you additionally take over the following tasks:

  • In strategic projects, you will identify improvement opportunities and develop proposals as well as manage the change together with our stakeholders.
  • You will manage external consultants and ensure their adherence to our standards.
