To strengthen our growing development center in Espoo, Finland, we are looking for highly engaged development engineers, who have a passion for technology and process development. Shape the future: As a MEMS Process developer, you are responsible for pre-development of novel unit processes / process modules with focus on CVD/ALD for highly innovative future sensors Bridge science and industry: You play a central role in transfer, adaption and development of new MEMS processes and equipment to our production lines in Germany. You cooperate with research institutes for fundamental development and with equipment vendors for industrialization towards volume production. Think strategically: Carry out economic feasibility studies and cost comparisons of new processes, technologies, and systems within the framework of technical implementation, production capacities, and future requirements Take ownership: You plan and execute experiments autonomously, coordinate the necessary analyses and evaluate the results in close cooperation with the international team of experts Collaborate confidently: Follow up the development goals as a part of a cross-functional expert team in close cooperation with frontend manufacturing and overall process development Shape success: To reach the goals, you rely on a combination of intensive teamwork, high personal responsibility and self-dependence Qualifications Personality: You are communicative, assertive, self-driven, and creative; you have the capability to perform effectively under pressure and manage to pursue your goals with perseverance Working Practice: You have a systematic, goal-oriented, and decisive working style; you enjoy teamwork Experience and Know-How: You have strong, demonstrable expertise in sensor, micromechanics and semiconductor technology, preferably gained within the Finnish technology ecosystem; knowledge in CVD/ALD development including relevant analytical and metrology methods; excellent understanding of physical principles and interrelationships; problem-solving skills Enthusiasm: You are enthusiastic about new tasks, understanding complex topics and working in an international environment Education: Completed university studies (Master/Diploma/PhD) in in electrical engineering, natural sciences (e.g. physics, chemistry), material sciences or a comparable subject Language: Excellent written and spoken English; Finnish or German are a plus Additional Information Please submit your application for this role via our Bosch Finland Job Portal.
