SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Safety, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in oil and gas operations, with at least 2 years in a role involving process safety or change management.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) and other relevant industry regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of the MOC process, including hazard identification, evaluation, and control.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with digital MOC platforms.
  • Proficient in hazard analysis techniques to assess safety, health, and environmental impacts.
  • Skilled in conducting process safety reviews and supporting risk screenings and assessments.

Responsibilities

WHAT ROLE YOU WILL PLAY IN OUR TEAM

  • Responsible for overseeing and facilitating the Management of Change (MOC) process in the Midland and Delaware Basin to ensure that all changes to processes, equipment, personnel, procedures and operations are evaluated, documented, and implemented safely and efficiently. This role ensures compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements by coordinating cross-functional reviews, risk assessments, and approvals.
  • Works closely with engineering, operations, safety, and execution teams to identify potential impacts of proposed changes, track progress, and maintain accurate records. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of process safety and change management principles.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Administer and maintain the MOC system, ensuring timely initiation, review, and closure of change requests.
  • Coordinate cross-functional reviews and risk assessments for proposed changes to equipment, processes, personnel, or procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM), EPA RMP, and internal MOC policies.
  • Track and report MOC metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and support to site personnel on MOC procedures and tools.
  • Assists in audits and inspections by providing necessary MOC documentation.
