OVERVIEW:

The Process Implementation Specialist (Non-IT) will play a key role in improving internal operations by standardizing workflows, refining organizational procedures, and leading change management efforts. This role supports strategic decision-making and service delivery across the academic appointment lifecycle—from hiring to separation—by increasing process clarity and accountability. The Specialist will support teams in adopting streamlined, sustainable processes.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Public Administration, Higher Education, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in process implementation, operational planning, or organizational change, ideally in a higher education or large, complex setting.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Certifications such as Prosci Change Management, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma are a plus.
• Strong experience in facilitating process design workshops, stakeholder engagement, and documentation.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Familiarity with academic or HR-related operational processes is preferred.
