Skills and Experience: We are looking for a motivated and collaborative engineer with:

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification
  • Strong production data analysis capabilities
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Experience in feasibility studies, prototyping, and production trials
  • Excellent stakeholder and supplier engagement skills
  • Proven ability in project development and managemen
Responsibilities

This is a forward-looking, hands-on position focused on identifying and delivering impactful improvement solutions within our world-class manufacturing environment. You’ll play a key role in driving equipment upgrades and implementing process enhancements guided by Lean and continuous improvement principles.
A diverse range of upcoming projects will offer the opportunity to contribute to significant gains in productivity, safety, and environmental performance — particularly across our extrusion, powder coating, and packing operations.
Working closely with experienced colleagues at our Angaston plant and across the national Capral manufacturing network, you’ll apply your technical and analytical expertise to develop industry-leading solutions.
