At VIA HFR, we are re-imagining passenger rail service on behalf of the Government of Canada! Our goal is to create a new sustainable passenger train network that will run faster, more often and will be more reliable between Toronto and Québec City.

THE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of proven experience in process design, management, and continuous improvement.
- Prior experience in Transportation Mega Infrastructure Projects (preferred, but not required).
- Proficiency in MS Visio (or other process mapping tools), ProcessPro (or other process management tools), Power BI, SharePoint, and Power Apps.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems and familiarity with ISO 9001 (a plus).
- Exceptional facilitation skills with a proven track record of leading workshops.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Relevant certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt or Business Process Management Professional Certificate (BPMP), ISO 9001, and PROSCI are highly desirable.
- Strong multitasking abilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring attention to detail and deadlines.

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Process Improvement Manager to join our Operational Excellence team. In this role, you will lead the design, management, and continuous improvement of processes, establish and maintain best practice standards, and collaborate across departments to optimize performance. You will play a crucial role in advancing organizational maturity and ensuring that our processes align with industry standards while achieving strong adoption throughout the company.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
Process Design & Mapping: Lead and facilitate workshops to map out existing processes and manage process documentation within the Process Management System.
Continuous Process Improvement: Oversee the intake and evaluation of process improvement suggestions, working closely with business teams to validate proposed changes and drive process re-engineering initiatives.
Workshop Facilitation: Design and lead workshops to gather input, drive consensus, and collaborate across teams to implement process improvements.
Change Management: Spearhead change management efforts, including process training, stakeholder engagement, and effective communication of process changes, ensuring broad understanding and alignment.
Standardization & Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with relevant standards, actively promoting process standardization throughout the organization.
Process Performance Management: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess process efficiency and effectiveness, using insights to drive ongoing improvements.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to identify pain points, gather feedback, and implement solutions tailored to business needs.
Training & Development: Design and deliver training programs to ensure staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to adhere to processes and the Quality Management System.
