Description
Manage manufacturing and/or production operations, which may include assembly, machinery, processing, or packaging. Manage manufacturing and/or production operations, which may include assembly, machinery, processing, or packaging Set production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, material supply, staffing resources, and required volume to meet demand and maintain high standards of quality and quantity. Develop, design and plan equipment and machine layouts, workflow, and safety precautions to maximize utilization of plant and manufacturing facilities. Ensure compliance with established international safety and design standards and guidelines Evaluate employee productivity and recommends improvements to increase team efficiency and operating performance, reduce waste and delays, and promote cost control/reductions. Develop metrics to measure plant and equipment capacity output, and identifies equipment and process flow bottlenecks. Establish accident prevention measures, and plans and schedules training programs for team members concerning all phases of production operation. Ensure year-to-year productivity gain: identifies, fosters, and manages the implementation of productivity projects at manufacturing sites. Lead automation and operating teams at sites for the development and implementation of standardized automation software and hardware, and implements optimized working procedures for non-automated areas.
