About Seurat
Seurat is transforming manufacturing for people and our planet by delivering a scalable additive manufacturing solution to fundamentally change how products are made. Seurat’s proprietary Area Printing process, developed at Lawrence Livermore National Labs (LLNL), allows metal components to be manufactured at price points and quality levels that compete directly with conventional manufacturing techniques, enabling the reshoring of supply chains and promoting the decarbonization of industry. Seurat has raised over $180M and is backed by leading venture partners like Capricorn, NVentures (NVIDIA), True Ventures, General Motors Ventures, Denso, Porsche SE, SIP global partners, Honda, Xerox Ventures/Myriad Venture Partners, Cubit Capital, Siemens Energy, and Maniv Mobility.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Seurat Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Printer Integration Engineer to join the process engineering team to work on a revolutionary and proprietary laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) based additive manufacturing (AM) or 3D printing technology. This new Area Printing technology greatly enhances the quality and productivity of metal additive manufacturing processes.
This position will work closely with various engineering disciplines, including optical, mechanical, electrical, software, and laser engineering, to coordinate daily tasks including system troubleshooting, system upgrades, and a variety of R&D activities. The focus of this role is to drive Seurat’s 3D printing platforms and systems to full capacity by ensuring seamless integration and optimization across all subsystems.
This position is highly hands-on and requires direct interaction with hardware, software, and system components. The Printer Integration Engineer will actively work on machines, perform troubleshooting, execute tests, and implement solutions in real-time. Candidates should be comfortable working in a lab or manufacturing environment, handling tools, and collaborating with engineers and scientists to optimize system performance.
