ESSENTIAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise under pressure.
  • High attention to detail with a process-oriented approach.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with confidence working with data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formula building).
  • Background or studies in international business, transportation, or freight.
Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Process Management team across international logistics processes — documentation, HMRC requirements, auditing, and reporting.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to clients on import/export procedures and compliance.
  • Preparing and producing detailed reports for HMRC, clients, and management.
  • Compiling and analysing activity data to spot trends and drive process improvements.
  • Liaising with clients and stakeholders to resolve customs-related issues.
  • Keeping up to date with regulations including customs, VAT, and import duty.
  • Occasional travel abroad when required for client meetings and logistics activities.
  • Representing the company with professionalism, customer service, and a proactive mindset.
