    Grange Resources Tasmania is on the lookout for a Process Operator to join our operation in Savage River.
    In this permanent, full-time role (working a 4 x 4, 12-hour rotating shift roster averaging 42 hours per week), you will monitor, control and operate equipment as well as carry out recording, maintenance and laboratory functions as required.

WHO WE ARE

We’re Grange Resources, Australia’s oldest and most experienced magnetite producer - combining both mining and pellet production expertise. Based in northwest Tasmania, we own and operate Australia’s largest integrated iron ore mining and pellet production business.
Grange holds long term supply contracts for one million tonnes of its annual production and offers the balance of its production to market via a spot sales tendering/contracting process.

Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • You will be able to demonstrate your ability to maintain the highest safety and quality standards.
  • You will be able to complete routine and assigned tasks efficiently and on time while maintaining effective work behaviour

To be successful in this role you have:

  • A current driver’s licence
  • Trades assistant experience will be advantageous
  • Previous mineral processing experience along with broad industry knowledge will be beneficial
  • Good computer skills
