Description Process Planner Advanced Machine & Engineering is a diversified manufacturing company that designs, builds, & delivers carbide sawing systems, custom work holding solutions, & automation solutions for a variety of industries. We are looking for a full-time Process Planner. Position Responsibilities: Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating manufacturing processes in the manufacturing plant. Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. Collaborate with design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods. Estimates production times, staffing requirements and related costs to provide information for management decisions. Work with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes. Uses computer to make job process routings. Prepares price quotations for machining based on knowledge of material, labor costs and manufacturing processes. Communicate with Customers, machinists, inspectors, engineers, sales and quality personnel to disposition defective material. Actions include writing AR's to disposition materials and to initiate corrections and corrective actions. Qualifications: BA/BS Manufacturing Engineering, or combination of 5 years of trade school / related experience in a manufacturing environment. 5 years in related manufacturing environment. Proficient in verbal and written communication, mechanical aptitude, strong managerial and organizational skills
