We are seeking a Process Planner for our CNC Turning Department to join our Manufacturing Engineering Team at Raytheon ELCAN. In this role, you will play a key part in developing, optimizing and maintaining department processes and work instructions. You will collaborate closely with co-workers in addition to Operations department team members to trouble shoot and navigate through various production and customer challenges. Continuous improvement and cost reductions will also be requested regularly during day to day activities. While supporting our CNC Turning Department will be the primary responsibility the expectation will be that the successful candidate be cross functionally able to support our CNC Milling department as needed. REQUIREMENTS/KEY COMPETENCIES

EDUCATION AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Certification of Apprenticeship or Qualification in either Tool and Die Maker and/or General Machinist
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a machine shop environment to tight tolerances
  • Technical ability to interpret drawings, models and geometrical dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T)
  • Proficiency in Various programming software (MasterCAM, Esprit, Vericut, Inventor etc.)
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
