Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is seeking an experienced Process / Project Engineer to support a major Flotation Integrity Project (FIP) within an operating mineral processing facility.
Working across both the Engineering and Commissioning teams, you will play a key role in ensuring engineering deliverables are complete, vendor packages are successfully managed through to handover, and the project transitions smoothly into commissioning and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review engineering deliverables and identify any missing information or design gaps.
- Coordinate the closeout of engineering documentation with vendors, document control and site stakeholders.
- Manage vendor packages through completion and handover.
- Support engineering closeout between design, construction and commissioning teams.
- Coordinate interfaces across process, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation disciplines.
- Provide technical input across concentrator systems, including ball mills, flotation and cleaning circuits.
- Support completions, turnover and final asset handover documentation.
About You You will be an experienced engineer with a background in mineral processing projects and a practical understanding of concentrator operations.
Ideally, you will have:
- A degree in Process, Chemical, Metallurgical, Mechanical or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience working on brownfield mining or mineral processing projects.
- Strong knowledge of concentrator plants, particularly flotation circuits.
- Experience supporting engineering, construction and commissioning activities.
- The ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and drive technical outcomes.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach.
