Description Join us at Diversified Foods and Seasonings as a Process & Project Management Engineer and play a key role in transforming our Madisonville facility. This is your opportunity to lead capital projects, optimize production, and build a culture of reliability and continuous improvement. What You’ll Do: Optimize & Innovate: Analyze and standardize manufacturing processes for cooked foods, sauces, and seasoning blends. Lead Lean Initiatives: Drive 5S, SMED, and waste elimination to boost throughput and reliability. Own Capital Projects: Manage projects up to $5MM—from scoping and design to installation and commissioning. Enhance Food Safety: Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, FSMA, and sanitary design principles. Collaborate & Influence: Partner with Operations, Quality, R&D, and Finance to deliver measurable improvements. Build Capability: Train teams, develop SOPs, and champion structured daily management systems. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related Engineering field. 5+ years in food manufacturing or regulated processing environments. Proven success with Lean methods and managing capital projects. Strong analytical skills and ability to translate technical decisions into financial impacts. Hands-on problem solver with excellent communication and leadership skills. Preferred: Experience with thermal processing, batching, blending, or RTE systems. Familiarity with WMS/MES tools and structured daily management systems. Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
