Job Summary QCM Process Quality Engineer is responsible for driving improvements in overall process quality by deploying, educating, monitoring, and continuously enhancing key business processes such as FMEA and Control Plans (CP). This role also contributes to the improvement of Fab key quality metrics. Through this position, you will gain in-depth knowledge and expertise in Micron’s Quality Management System as well as industry standards. Job responsibilities Deep understanding of key business processes and deploy core tools for FMEA and Control Plan (CP) processes. Monitor key metrics to identify systemic issues, define strategies, and drive improvements in FMEA/CP processes in collaboration with Fab organizations. Serve as a Fab representative to work with global teams on developing, benchmarking, and aligning effective business processes. Qualification & Requirements Basic understanding of Micron’s Quality Management Systems, particularly related to FMEA and Control Plans (CP). Fundamental knowledge of semiconductor processing, process integration, device physics, and quality and reliability principles. Strong ability to communicate effectively in English/Japanese, both written and verbal. Ability to recognize one’s own role and contribute to cross-functional team activities, both in-person and remotely. Demonstrated ability and willingness to continuously learn and enhance skills. Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and industry experience is preferred.
