Responsibilities

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • Experience working in Process, Risk, Governance, or Internal Controls
  • Customer focused, understand and demonstrate an awareness of ‘Treating Customers Fairly’ principles
  • Strong experience with process mapping tools such as Visio and / or Mega.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities efficiently
  • Strong business writing skills with the ability to articulate technical matters in simple language
  • The ability to move around our office locations nationally (London, Manchester, Brighton, Staines)
  • Demonstrate influencing skills, comfortable challenging senior stakeholders by providing constructive and evidenced based rationale
  • Strong interpersonal skills - the ability to present confidently to varied audiences.
  • Excellent attention to detail - the ability to document controls and actions in a concise and accurate manner
  • Solution focused and the ability to present solutions to problems
  • Able to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Positive attitude and can remain calm under pressure
  • Able to learn new skills and adapt to a changing environment
  • Team player and able to work on own initiative, consulting with colleagues as and when required.
  • Manage their own day to day activities with minimal supervision, identifying when support or escalation is needed.
  • Demonstrate commitment, be flexible with time & approach, and manage conflicting priorities to achieve objectives and deadlines.
  • Experience at a regulated organisation and working within regulatory and operational rules and guidance
