REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• BS Chemical Engineering (minimum) from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred or ability to attain in the future.
• Minimum of 2-years of process/ plant engineering experience at a facility level.
• Minimum 5-years overall practical experience.
• Previous PSM or RMP-regulated industry experience.
• Preferred specialty chemical experience (specifically Inks, Coatings, Pigments and Paints).
• Ability to read P&IDs, PFDs, BFDs.
• Thorough understanding of engineering design standards and their implementation, e.g., NFPA, NEC, ANSI, ASME, ICC, API, etc.
• Understanding of functional safety and the practical implementation of practices.
