Title: Process Safety Technology Engineer
Location: Freeport, TX
Salary: $129,000 - $165,000
Schedule: Hybrid schedule available of up to 1 day remote; 9/80 or 5/8 schedules available

PROCESS SAFETY TECHNOLOGY ENGINEER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree* in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• 
  Minimum of 5 years of experience in application of external or internal codes and standards in a chemicals manufacturing environment.
• 
  Experience in a process safety role and experience with design and implementation of projects and process changes in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• 
  Experience in reviewing, understanding, and applying codes and standards such as NFPA 30 & 70, API 521/620/650/752/753/756, IEC 61511, ASME B31 for piping, ASME/BPVC SEC VIII Pressure vessels, etc. preferred.
• 
  Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver’s license.
• 
  Some domestic travel
