Support internal or/and external projects during the implementation of new technologies; equipment and process characterization, generation of knowledge or any ABEC key activity related with process sciences. Participate in customer calls and face-to-face meetings. Responsibilities: Works on bench scale cell culture process development, optimization and process transfer studies with minimum supervision. Develop protocols and analytical methods, generate reports related to experiment execution, propose future experiments. Performs independent data analysis and interpretation, and proposes strategies for optimization and troubleshooting. Serves as upstream cell culture SMEs to participate in client calls and face-to-face meetings. Authors lab equipment SOPs; maintains equipment functionality and coordinates repairs and preventative maintenance. Authors scientific publications such as white papers, application notes, posters, and reviews. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. May be required to assist in other departments or be assigned for other duties. Willingness to travel when required. Requirements: Master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or Sciences field (Biological, Chemical, Physics, or equivalent experience). Hands-on experience with T-cells or iPSCs or MSCs. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point. Desirable: PhD in Engineering, Life Sciences, or Sciences field (Biological, Chemical, Physics, or equivalent experience). Experience in upstream cell culture development using bench scale bioreactors. Proficient is statistical data analysis and R-Studio.
