OVERVIEW

Kinectrics is building its Medical Isotopes portfolio, which is to span the supply chain from stable isotope production to cGMP radioisotope and drug product manufacturing.
Kinectrics is seeking process engineer/scientist to support our expanding medical isotope program that will help us meet the global demands for the next generation of medical isotopes. This position will aid in establishing Kinectrics as a leader in uninterrupted supply of high-quality isotopes that will be used in life-saving medications for patients worldwide.

ACCOUNTABILITIES: HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Monitor production processes, collect production data, analyze production data to identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance operational performance.
  • Responsible for smooth functioning of production lines, developing new techniques, initiating design modifications, and initiating and leading process improvement initiatives/projects.
  • Work independently and as part of the production team to drive and lead the evaluation of workflows, identification of bottlenecks, and implementation of innovative solutions to improve productivity and quality.
  • Identify, assist and give direction on the optimization and improved efficiency of the medical isotopes production process.
  • Lead the investigation and resolution of issues that arise during production, such as equipment malfunctions or quality defects with the support of the technical and production team.
  • Select and maintain appropriate equipment for production, and ensure it meets performance and safety requirements.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles, conduct process audits, and develop/maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Report to senior management and key stakeholders on production efficiency, costs, quality, inventory, etc.
  • Perform all work in accordance with and in compliance with Kinectrics’ policies, procedures and standards, and in a safe manner.
  • Perform other duties as required.
