About the role Carrier is seeking a high‑potential candidate to join our Enterprise Master Data Management COE Team. This role is central to driving enterprise data standards, quality, and consistency across the organization, supporting Carrier’s multi‑year strategic objectives. The Enterprise Master Data Steward will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to ensure master data integrity, enable migration from legacy ERP systems to SAP S/4HANA, and implement automation for ongoing data quality improvements. Key Responsibilities: Drive standardization of enterprise master data as a key enabler of strategic objectives. Identify, Implement and enforce enterprise data quality rules using tools such as Ataccama and SAP MDG. Develop and execute scripts for mass data changes leveraging automation platforms (e.g., Precisely Automate). Review data profiling results and collaborate with stakeholders to remediate issues. Define and recommend consistent business naming standards, data definitions, and rules. Partner with IT to enable MDG workflows and automation capabilities. Perform ongoing data validation, testing, and periodic audits to ensure accuracy and consistency. Monitor and resolve interface issues across systems. Work independently with minimal oversight while engaging business and technical teams globally Requirements Strong understanding of data governance functions: stewardship, data quality, architecture, modeling, master/reference data, security, and integration. Hands‑on experience implementing data quality rules in Ataccama, SAP MDG, or similar MDM platforms. Proven ability to write and execute automation scripts for mass data changes (Precisely Automate or equivalent). Solid knowledge of business partner data models (Vendor, Customer), Material, and Finance domains. Experience creating and managing master data in ERP systems (SAP, JDE preferred). Self‑directed, results‑oriented team player with strong business acumen. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Skilled in identifying, clarifying, and resolving issues and risks Bachelor’s degree in finance, IT, or related field. 5+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, master data management, or related fields. Experience with SAP or JDE strongly preferred. Experience in interfacing with business operational customers and IT. Experience in data & root cause analysis.
