THE ROLE

Join Holland & Barrett’s Burton Manufacturing site as a Process Specialist, where you’ll ensure new products and ongoing enhancements move smoothly from development into full-scale production. Reporting to the Quality & Product Safety Manager, you will focus on maintaining process capability, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. You’ll work closely with product development, production, and packaging teams to introduce equipment, lead trials, and support continuous improvement—helping us uphold high standards and drive innovation across our manufacturing operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the integration of New Product Developments (NPD) into full-scale manufacturing, ensuring smooth handovers and production readiness.
  • Manage Existing Product Development (EPD) refinements, maintaining quality, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory and customer specifications.
  • Oversee Holland & Barrett and Co-Pack production processes, ensuring all activities adhere to established standards.
  • Monitor and enhance process capability, driving consistency in output quality and minimising variability.
  • Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency and reduce waste, including evaluating new raw materials for quality and consistency gains.
  • Plan, execute, document, and analyse product and equipment trials to validate feasibility, scalability, and alignment with technical requirements.
  • Oversee commissioning of new machinery and equipment—ensuring operational, hygiene, and quality standards are met, and supporting the development of relevant documentation.
  • Collaborate on packaging innovation projects to enhance sustainability, efficiency, and consumer appeal.
