Job Description The Process Standardization and Automation Expert plays an important role in driving digital transformation within the Human Resources Services department. The expert is responsible for elevating HR processes and workflows through detailed standardization, continuous optimization, and intelligent automation. The role aims to enhance productivity, reduce costs, improve service quality, and drive data-driven decisions through scalable, automated solutions. Your contribution to something big: Conduct comprehensive analyses of existing HR processes and workflows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies and automation potential; Drive the standardization and harmonization of processes and continuously improves these; Manage the automation and digitalization of business processes and workflows within HR Shared Services, leveraging tools such as the Microsoft Power Platform (Excel, VBA, Power BI, Power Automate) or other automation frameworks; Lead data analytics initiatives and the creation of dashboards/reports to monitor efficiency, quality, and performance metrics; Partner with cross-functional teams (HR, management, IT) to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with internal policies and strategic goals; Lead and contribute to internal improvement projects, roll-in projects, and coordinates department-level digital initiatives, including tool rollouts, enhancements, and training activities. Qualifications What distinguishes you: Education: Degree in Business Informatics, Data Analytics, Computer Science or a related field; Experience: 4+ years of experience in roles with a strong focus on digital process management, process optimization and automation, ideally experience in HR Shared Services; Proven experience in the analysis, design, and implementation of business processes, as well as in identifying and realizing automation potential. Knowledge: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI (incl. M-Code, DAX, and VBA programming knowledge), Automation Tools (MS Power Platform, Analytics Anywhere, Catalytic) and willingness to learn enterprise HR systems; Advanced M365 tool basket expertise (e.g. Access, Visio, SharePoint, Project, Forms etc.); Basic project management knowledge. Languages: Fluent in English (C1 or higher), with strong written and verbal communication skills; Personality: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proactive mindset and adaptability in a HR environment; Excellent stakeholder communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and guide HR teams through digital change; High degree of independence, detail-oriented, structured working methods, and the ability to prioritize deliverables based on ROI (cost, efficiency, quality); Passion for continuous improvement, open-mindedness, and the ability to think departmentally across functions and strategically.
