Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Systems Integration Engineer to our team in Dundalk, Ireland.
The Systems Integration Engineer will work within the Systems Integration Team as part of the wider Business Excellence Team and will be responsible for supporting the implementation of key systems and the integration of these systems with functional processes across all departments. The Systems Integration Engineer will champion process improvements and, in conjunction with other functions, analyses feedback and identifies and implements problem-solving techniques to identify appropriate systems to support continuous improvement and drive positive change across the full value stream.

What a typical day looks like:

  • You will be reporting to the Systems Integration Team Lead (team of 3 engineers)
  • Responsible for process/system engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to support manufacturing
  • Understand the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and the product
  • Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production
  • Support and oversee the implementation of new systems and processes
  • Collaborate with functional departments to understand key challenges and identify process improvements to ensure the successful implementation of key systems such as ERP, MES etc.
  • Ensure development and management of the Bills of Materials for AMIE Products
  • Collaborate with other regions and businesses to establish one-best way procedures for Design and Production in order to develop and improve Anord Mardix products and processes
  • Highlight process deficiencies within the business, suggest improvements, and help bring them to fruition
  • Help to source and implement new and alternative processes and systems that will improve our products performance and reliability, and lower our cost base in terms of material and labour

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
  • At least 2 years’ experience working in a similar industry (manufacturing)
  • Familiarity with Systems (e.g.: ERP, MES, PLM, etc.)
  • Understanding of Bill of Materials processes and systems
  • Strong team member with the ability to identify and drive implementation of innovative quality improvements
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. Must have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the company
  • Good administrative/organisational ability with high level of attention to detail
