Description

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years’ experience with automations (fully automatic assembly equipment with robots and/or transfers (servo motor)) or 1 year experience coupled with a technical associate degree (Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics).
  • Proven past ability to set-up, operate, and perform autonomous maintenance on fully automated equipment.
  • Robotics Experience: basic knowledge to operate the robot and make adjustments.
  • Lead and participate in root cause analysis of equipment or parts.
  • Familiarity with MTBF, MTTR, and Equipment Uptime.

Responsibilities
  • Lead equipment adjustments based on quality, performance, and cycle time requirements.
  • Assist Maintenance Technicians in the installation, debugging, repair, and maintenance of production equipment.
  • Perform tasks related to autonomous maintenance, changeovers, inspection, and testing of equipment, ensuring production processes run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Diagnose process defects and equipment failure and solve problems (troubleshooting) with minimal scrap and downtime.
  • Create new standards with manufacturing engineers and technicians to improve equipment stability.
  • Work closely with manufacturing engineers and other maintenance technicians in a team environment to ensure efficient operation of machinery and to implement process improvements.
  • Maintain a clean and safe production area.
