Our client, a leader in Flexible Packaging in Brampton is looking for a talented
Process/Technical Engineer to join their operations.
We are seeking a Process Engineer who will play a key role in the design, development, and
improvement of manufacturing processes with the goal of increasing efficiency and
ensuring high product quality. This position demands a solid grounding in mechanical
engineering along with experience using a variety of engineering tools and process
optimization methodologies. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with cross
functional teams to ensure all manufacturing processes align with safety regulations,
quality expectations, and performance goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent

technical discipline) preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, ideally with at least 2

years in the flexible packaging industry.

• In-depth knowledge of flexible packaging machinery including flexo presses, pouch

making equipment, slitters, laminators, and surface treaters.

• Proven experience with mechanical troubleshooting, system upgrades, and

reliability engineering.

• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), automation, and machine

alignment techniques.

• Strong grasp of quality assurance standards in flexible packaging production.
• Excellent diagnostic and analytical skills.
• Ability to function both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced

manufacturing environment.

• Proficient in written and verbal communication.
• Working knowledge of CAD software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable working with technical manuals

and documents
