Ensure that safety, risk and environmental rules and programs are strictly adhered to.
Operate and maintain processing equipment according to operating guidelines using SOPs, supervisory input, process monitoring instrumentation, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Monitor area to identify systems that may not be operating correctly.
Ability to troubleshoot issues with plant and equipment and work through issues to maintain production safely.
Ability to work with other crews and departments to complete work.
Complete operational Preventative Maintenance (PMs) to ensure efficient operation and process.
Use mobile equipment in a safe manner.
Focus on housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean work environment.
Collect samples for laboratory analysis and conduct basic testing when required.
Collect samples and initiate changes based on those results.
About You
You’ll bring:
Process plant experience (preferred)
Forklift Ticket (preferred or willing to be trained)
Proven and demonstrated experience within a chemical handling/process operation environment (desired)
Exceptional attention to detail
Demonstrated experience with industrial safe work procedures and practices
Wearing personal protective equipment is required on a regular basis, including hard hat, safety glasses, and steel-toes boots. Wear respirator, protective clothing and gloves as needed.
Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather.
Pass written test for verification of understanding of the process and requirements for your area.
