The Opportunity
Reporting to the Supervisor of Vape, the Processing Assistant, Vape will be a part of a superior operations function building within Canopy Growth, including its wholly owned subsidiaries. This individual will be a detail-oriented person who can work independently and in collaboration with the operations team.

Responsibilities

  • Packaging of Tweed products according to standard operating procedures, ensuring accurate weights and sanitary procedures
  • Weigh, combine and manage bulk inventory containers, ensuring accurate weights
  • Report non-conformities to the supervisory team
  • Label and seal packaged products according to standard operating procedures
  • Assist in fulfillment and shipping during peak periods
  • Prepare customer orders with a high attention to detail, within time guidelines
  • Approves products for shipment by inspecting product visually for deficiency
  • Maintains a safe work environment by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), wearing PPE and proper/safe use of equipment
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Must be able to work a variable to different shifts
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience and Background

  • Ability to stay organized and follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistency of product
  • Willingness to perform varied tasks as required.
  • Experience in a similar setting / willingness to work in a loud, confined space
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Comfortable with computers and data entry
  • Keen attention to detail
