Description Processing Engineer Since 1983, HTI Cybernetics® has provided intelligent manufacturing solutions that support and enhance production, including automation systems, material handling solutions, assembly tooling, and collaborative robotics. Primary Responsibilities: Reporting to the Processing Manager the Process Engineer is responsible for development of advanced assembly processes for new projects. The Processor will develop a process based on customer requirements including system layout, cycle time study and process flow. Coordinate with Sales and Estimating Team to ensure accuracy of Processes and related documents. Utilize AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and other Microsoft programs to create Processes and supporting documents. Any other duties assigned by Manager as needed. Requirements Education/Skills Required: 5 + years of experience in Advanced Processing of automotive assembly machinery and tooling. Ability to calculate cycle time utilizing industry standard timing. Familiar with MIG weld and Spot weld process preferred. Ability to create system layout utilizing AutoCAD, preferred by not required. Above average computer skills including experience with Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Experience in mechanical or machinery design preferred but not required.
