Description As a customer-focused technical product expert, Reiser technicians will apply highly developed troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical skills, and sound knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, high voltage, three phase and electronic control systems to work directly on new and old packaging machinery equipment and the ancillary attachments that are created for that equipment. We are looking for a career minded individual that is available to work 1st shift hours with occasional weekend overtime. Read diagrams, blueprints, schematic drawings, engineering specifications and service manuals to determine work procedures. Works independently on diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing issues while handling multiple projects at a time. Prepares machine orders for the processing shop Reconciles component parts on customer machines and pulls parts for processing shop technicians. General shop upkeep, assistance, and cleaning Assisting senior shop technicians with projects Data entry into the company ERP system Participate as necessary in new projects to install or improve the safety and performance of existing and new equipment. Requirements 3+ years of maintenance, automotive or technical experience -- servicing, troubleshooting and repair of electro-mechanical machinery Positive can/will do attitude with a customer service mindset is mandatory Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical concepts Initiative, critical thinking, complex problem solving, judgement and decision making, persistence, attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility, concern for others and leadership Hand and power tool experience Ability to stand be on feet all day and lift to 70lbs regularly Bilingual English-Spanish skills are a plus but not necessary for this role
