Processing Team Member (Sorter/Grader/Racker) We’re looking for detail-oriented, fast-paced team members with strong retail product knowledge to join our Processing Department. This role is ideal for someone with experience in sorting, grading, and racking merchandise, especially individuals familiar with major retail brands, resale markets, and identifying antiques or unique, high-value items. Processing Team Members help move donated goods from the loading dock to the sales floor—carefully inspecting, sorting, preparing, and pricing merchandise to ensure our customers receive high-quality, well-organized items. This position is hands-on, physically active, and essential to keeping our store running efficiently. What You’ll Do Sort, grade, and rack merchandise according to brand, quality, and resale value. Identify high-value items, antiques, collectibles, and specialty brands. Inspect all incoming clothing and goods for quality standards. Load, unload, and move carts safely and efficiently. Clean, prepare, and price products for the sales floor. Consolidate goods and operate baling equipment as needed. Prepare, package, and organize items for shipping. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized processing area. Follow all safety policies and operational procedures. What We’re Looking For Retail, thrift, reseller, warehouse, or production experience required. Strong knowledge of apparel brands, vintage items, antiques, or resale value trends. Keen eye for detail with the ability to accurately classify merchandise. Organized, efficient, and able to work at a steady, productive pace. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Physical Demands Frequently: Lift up to 50 lbs., push/pull up to 25 lbs., climb ladders up to 14 ft., stoop, kneel, crouch, and handle various materials. Frequently: Walk and stand on concrete/tile floors; reach at waist and overhead levels.
