This role operates advanced processing equipment and plays a critical role in maintaining food safety, quality standards, and operational reliability. This position requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. Overtime, weekend, holiday, and night work may be required based on business needs. ---------------------------------------- ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Operate computerized processing systems, boilers, and wastewater equipment * Sample, measure, and monitor product and tank temperatures * Blend, transfer, and route oils using valves and piping systems * Read and use tape measures and gauges accurately * Inspect heat tracing, clear lines, and prepare systems for operation * Assist with spill containment and cleanup when required * Change industrial filters and maintain equipment * Prepare equipment for startup, shutdown, and severe weather conditions * Perform basic troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs * Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment * Maintain clean, organized, and food-safe work areas * Participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives * Perform other duties as assigned ---------------------------------------- QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE * High School Diploma or GED required * Six (6) months of related industrial or manufacturing experience preferred * Equivalent education and experience will be considered KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS * Ability to read and follow safety procedures and operating instructions * Strong attention to detail and quality standards * Ability to work independently and take initiative * Comfortable working at heights (up to 60 feet) * Ability to read measurements and use basic tools * Effective verbal and radio communication skills * Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, and conversions * Strong problem-solving and reasoning ability ---------------------------------------- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
