QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Detail-Oriented: Strong focus on achieving production, packaging, and shipment targets while maintaining quality standards.
  • Experience: Experience in cannabis extraction, processing, packaging, and shipment preparation or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Process Knowledge: Able to build a strong understanding of manufacturing, packaging, and shipment preparation process flows and SOPs.
  • Record-Keeping: Excellent record-keeping skills with attention to detail in data entry, inventory management, and shipment documentation.

Responsibilities

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Extraction & Production: Produce high-quality cannabis concentrates and finished products, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to SOPs.
  • Sanitation: Sanitize extraction and processing equipment, rooms, and premises as required.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate, clean, and maintain formulation, processing, and packaging equipment, including handling cryogenic fluids and compressed gases.
  • Packaging: Accurately package cannabis materials according to SOPs and prepare shipments for market distribution.
  • Record Keeping: Record data accurately and promptly in batch production records, and maintain strict inventory records using documentation and in-house ERP software.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot equipment and method issues and assist in optimizing extraction, cannabis oil processing, and packaging SOPs.
  • Process Understanding: Understand and follow manufacturing and packaging process flows, ensuring compliance with quality assurance and Health Canada regulations.
  • Health & Safety: Adhere to all Health and Safety policies, including directives from the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC).
  • Documentation: Complete all required documentation related to extraction, processing, packaging, and shipment preparation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Communication: Follow the chain of command, showing respect to peers and leads during communication.
  • Other Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by the extraction operations manager, leads, or technicians.
