Adecco is currently seeking a Procurement Administrator to join our client’s supply chain team in Saint John, NB. In this role, you’ll support the procurement process by managing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a customer-focused mindset who is looking to grow in a procurement or supply chain environment. The position starts as temporary with the possibly of extension.

  • Pay rate: $20/hour.
  • Location: Saint John, NB
  • Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
  • Job type: Temporary with possibility of extension | Full-time

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • 1-2 years of experience in procurement or a related field
  • Post-secondary education in supply chain, procurement, or a related discipline
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient with procurement systems and reporting tools (Basware is an asset)
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and detail-focused

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Track daily purchase orders (goods, certifications, manuals) to ensure delivery timelines are met
  • Update, manage, and close out POs upon project completion
  • Liaise with internal customers and suppliers to resolve delivery issues
  • Review and maintain reports and documentation
  • Provide excellent internal customer service and procurement support
  • Ensure invoice compliance with purchase orders and contracts via Basware
  • Support weekly compliance reporting and Touch Labour contracts
  • Work closely with Procurement Specialists to ensure smooth operations
