REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior experience or exposure in an administrative role.
  • A strong interest in developing a career within Procurement.
  • Efficient organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills coupled with a proactive and adaptable approach to navigate challenges and evolving demands.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with procurement leadership to extract and refine data from reporting systems for thorough analysis.
  • Maintain the accuracy and consistency of procurement reports.
  • Conduct regular data analysis to provide valuable insights that support strategic decision-making within the procurement function.
  • Liaise effectively with procurement teams to ensure smooth operations and collaboration.
  • Monitor and update vessel arrivals and communicate with both Sales Support and Procurement teams.
  • Proactively engage with cross-functional teams, including Sales Support, to identify and report any outstanding expected packing lists to the Procurement department, ensuring prompt follow-up.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Procurement department, including diary management and travel arrangements.
  • Manage the reporting of claims and rejections to suppliers, providing detailed information on quality issues to facilitate resolution and drive continuous improvement within our supply chain.
