Procurement Advisor RBNZ is looking for a new Procurement Adviser to join their busy team. Their aim is to ensure greater value for money for New Zealanders through best procurement practice. Join a close knit and collaborative team Fixed term role for 12 months Wellington based Te tūranga – The role and your impact In this role, you’ll deliver effective procurement activities for the organisation, supporting greater value for money for New Zealanders through robust procurement practice including contract management. Your key responsibilities will be: Operating in line with RBNZ’s policies and procedures. Developing and maintaining supportive and productive relationships with key stakeholders to enhance RBNZ procurement and contract management activities. Providing advice to the business on current operating procurement processes and policy. Supporting contract management practices across the organisation, including assisting with internal compliance monitoring. Delivering low risk procurement processes and assisting with more complex activities as required. Assist with the procurement aspect of project work as required Ō pūkenga – About you We’re looking for someone who wants to be part of an exceptional team, delivering exciting and important projects over the next year. Someone who is collaborative, pragmatic and supportive. If you have: Knowledge and understanding of government procurement rules 1-2 years end-to-end government procurement experience (plan, source, manage) including use of all AoG panels. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across a diverse group of internal and external contacts. Financial analysis skills with demonstrated ability to manipulate and interpret data. IT procurement experience would be advantageous. then we want to hear from you!
