Procurement Agent Company: The Boeing Company Job Description: Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Agent (Level 4 or 5) to join our Supply Chain (SC) Interiors Contracts team in Everett, Washington. The Contracts Procurement Agent plays a pivotal role in managing, integrating, and improving Boeing's supply chain. As a Contracts Procurement Agent, your responsibilities will focus on contracting strategy, contract negotiation and supplier selection. This role requires contracting knowledge, negotiating and carrying out all aspects of BCA Supply Chain Contracts in support of production programs. Your primary duties include maintaining relationships with external companies and internal collaborators, negotiating cost recoveries, engineering changes, and contract extensions. In this role, you will be the primary contact with the supplier(s) and will maintain contracts and statement of work within approved BCA Supply Chain policies and procedures. Position Responsibilities: Negotiates and contracts for products, services and technologies Engages stakeholders to ensure that program, customer, product and in-service strategies are integrated into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements Optimizes execution of the supply chain balancing inventory, supply orders and schedule demand. Manages supplier/subcontractor performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and in-service performance Mitigates risks and issues. Initiates supplier improvement activities and provides results for integration into contracting strategies This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 9+ years of experience with Supply Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes 9+ years of experience developing, drafting, negotiating and/or executing contracts and subcontracts 9+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans Willingness to travel domestically or internationally 5% Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Level 5: 14+ years of experience with Supplier Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes 14+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts 14+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience 9+ years of experience in Microsoft Office products Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
