Procurement Agent Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Contracts Procurement Agent to join our Materials and Standards team in North Charleston SC! The Contracts Procurement Agent plays a pivotal role in managing, integrating, and improving Boeing's supply chain. As a Contracts Procurement Agent, your responsibilities will focus on contract strategy, negotiation and supplier selection. This role requires contracting knowledge, negotiating, and carrying out all aspects of BCA Supply Chain Contracts in support of production programs. Your primary duties include maintaining relationships with external companies and internal collaborators, and negotiating cost recoveries, engineering changes, and contract extensions. In this role, you will be the primary contact with the supplier(s) and will maintain contracts and statement of work within approved BCA Supply Chain policies and procedures. Position Responsibilities: Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply. Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements. Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements. Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance. Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies. Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions. Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements. Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management. Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance. Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience): 2+ years of experience with Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) 2+ years of experience in a role which required strong interpersonal and communication skills 2+ years of experience leading managing projects Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field 3+ years of experience with industry SAP (System Applications and Product) and/or an equivalent such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) 3+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills 3+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
