We are currently seeking a Procurement Analyst to grow and develop their career in our Supply Chain team located in Port Melbourne based 100% onsite on a full-time permanent basis.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE):

  • Entry level experience in a Procurement role and a desire to develop your career in this field focused on systems and process
  • Ability to analyse data, draw insights and prepare reporting
  • Ability to effectively visualize complex problems, identify their root causes, and propose solutions.
  • Knowledge and experience in ERP systems. SAP knowledge and experience would be an advantage.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication and organisation skills
  • Ability to influence and engage others
  • Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain Management or relative discipline is preferred although not essential

Responsibilities
  • Assists in the identification documentation development and deployment of process improvements, organization initiatives and projects/procurement activities
  • Assists with the maintenance of supplier management processes and systems
  • Utilizes supplier management systems to ensure planning, validation, and maintaining of all requirements for procurement analysis
  • Supports with SAP problem solving and process mapping to improve processes, reporting and data
  • Supports the coordination and tracking of supplier management action items and metrics
  • Supports with required updates and changes to key supplier management procedures for planning, procurement plans, shortage mitigation, schedule validation, self-governance, and inventory analysis
  • Develops and maintains relationships with customers, stakeholders and peers
