Responsibilities
Summary: Supports Direct Procurement functions with a spend of $250-300M by assisting category managers and business units to understand and support category requirements. Utilizes advanced data analysis techniques to develop solutions to various moderately complex problems. Assists category managers in managing existing and newly acquired relationships, and works with OEMs and suppliers to identify and mitigate risks related to procurement and order fulfillment processes.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Data reporting automation of Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI and Looker
SQL skills for querying and analyzing large datasets preferred
Ability to work on multiple projects
Demonstrated planning and time management skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with strong communication skills
Strong research and analytical skills
Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word, Access and Power Point)
Qualifications

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Physical Role Requirements : Be seated at a computer intermittently for up to eight hours a day. Move up to 10 pounds occasionally, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects. Sitting for long periods of time while using office equipment such as computers and phones. Repetitive motions using hands and digits; such as movement of wrists, hands and fingers while picking, pinching and typing during your normal working environment.
Minimum Education, Licensure and Professional Certification requirements: Bachelor’s degree required in business, finance, supply chain, operations management, or a related field
Minimum Experience required (number of years necessary to perform role) : 2+ years of experience required. Experience in competitive procurement, sourcing, supply chain and/or contract management or related field; business, technical, or related field is preferred.
Travel: Less than 10% required
FLSA (Exempt or Non-Exempt) : Exempt

This role pays between $59,700.00/year to $74,600.00/year , and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, responsibilities, experience, and location.

Responsibilities

Ability to write queries and work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or SQL Server.
Conducts research and stays current on category markets, business processes, commodities, and technology trends improving category management and delivery value.
Collaborates between Supply Management, Business Units, and OEM/suppliers to support procurement operations, identify potential issues/risks, and manage accordingly.

Maintain all OEM catalog pricing including managing pricing updates and revisions, ensuring timely integration into the e-procurement platform.
