The Procurement & Benefits Manager plays a strategic role in driving cost efficiency, ensuring operational compliance, and enhancing employee well-being across the organization. This role provides leadership in procurement management and ensures effective vendor governance and performance. In parallel, this role oversees Acquires Compensation and Benefits team, including the design and administration of compensation and benefits programs ensuring they remain competitive in market. The manager will directly manage HMO vendor relations, including contract negotiations, performance reviews, and cost-benefit analyses, to maximize program value and elevate employee experience. In collaboration with Clinic Management and HR, the role also monitors HMO utilization trends and develops data-driven wellness initiatives that promote preventive care, reduce utilization costs, and strengthen overall workforce well-being Key Responsibilities Procurement & Vendor Management Conducts cost-benefit analyses of HMO and group life insurance programs to ensure optimal value, financial sustainability, and alignment with employee needs. Lead and oversee the end-to-end procurement process, ensure alignment with company policies, regulatory compliance requirements, and cost optimization strategies. Undertake vendor cost comparisons to ensure value-for-money in sourcing decisions. Build and manage vendor relationships, including performance evaluation, contract negotiation, and establishment of service level agreements to drive accountability and service excellence. Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and strategic sourcing initiatives to maximize value, improve efficiency, and minimize risk. Employee Benefits Management Oversee the design, delivery, and governance of employee benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness, compliance, and alignment with company culture. Lead annual benefits strategy reviews, evaluating utilization data, employee feedback, and market benchmarks to recommend program enhancements. Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation. Direct HMO/medical utilization tracking and implement targeted wellness initiatives that drive healthier outcomes and cost reduction. Coordinate with Clinic Management and HR to track and analyze HMO utilization, identifying trends, high-cost drivers, and areas for intervention. HMO and Group Life Insurance - Billing Consolidation & Validation Supervise consolidation, review, and validation of vendor billing Statements of Accounts (SOA) to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with contractual obligations. Implement internal controls and audit mechanisms to safeguard against discrepancies and financial leakage. Provide analysis and reporting of billing trends to support executive decision-making. Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to the Procurement and Compensation & Benefits teams. Partner with Finance, HR, and Business Leaders to align strategies with organizational objectives. Present insights, cost-saving opportunities, and wellness impact reports to senior leadership.
